SABA is a professional propless mentalism system that allows you to reveal a thought-of object (and more) using nothing but conversation, intuition, and a structured approach designed specifically for real-world performance.
Your participant simply thinks of an everyday object. From there, you begin describing impressions and sensations connected to their thought. Images, textures, feelings, fragments of information begin to appear.

SABA was created from a simple real-world problem.
One Christmas I was asked to perform some mind reading for family and friends. The problem was that I had nothing with me. No cards, no billets, no props. I found myself scrambling to find scraps of paper and pens just to perform something simple.
That moment stuck with me.
As a mentalist, I realised I should always be able to demonstrate mind reading. Even when I have absolutely nothing.
That idea sent me down a long path exploring propless mentalism, psychological approaches, and structured methods that could work in real performance.
Over time, after countless experiments, failures, and refinements, SABA emerged.
A system that allows you to reveal a thought with nothing but your mind.
Many propless effects exist, but they often come with compromises. Some feel like puzzles. Others rely on mathematics or complicated procedures. Some feel restrictive or unnatural in performance.
SABA was designed with very clear goals.
No props (obviously)
No mathematics.
No logic puzzles.
A natural conversational process.
A choice that feels fair and open (No force).
A method that is extremely difficult to backtrack.

Within the project, the idea of incorporating SABA with props is discussed as an idea.
But SABA is 100% propless.
The project is centred around revealing a thought of an object. We also cover how SABA can be used to reveal a country.
But you can apply SABA to a lot once you understand the system.

No. This is different in every way.

Like anything in magic and mentalism, things can go wrong. So, we cannot guarantee a 100% hit rate.
We (myself and other performers) estimate that the hit rate is around 95%.
We and other performers are comfortable with those odds and therefore have no fear.
If those odds make you uncomfortable, then maybe SABA isn’t going to be your cup of tea!
